Flour Powder Pollen began her career in woodworking and furniture restoration by apprenticing in Santa Cruz, CA.  Flour then applied for and won a full scholarship award to attend the California College of Art's Wood Furniture program in the Bay Area.

Flour graduated with a BFA from the California College of Arts as Cum Laude and also received the prestigious Wornick Award for her furniture that year.

Flour opened her own shop in the summer of 2008 and since then has been busy building a wide variety of custom free-standing furniture and refurbishing antiques for some of Los Angeles' top designers, shops and private clients.

Flour's furniture has appeared in Fine Woodworking Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, and Ellen DeGeneres' new book entitled "Home".
